  • Get the blue tick (Twitter Blue) to be a paid verified account if possible.

  • The higher the probability that your tweet will be liked, replied to, and/or retweeted by another user, the more likely it will be visible to that user.

  • Always end your Tweet with a call-to-action (CTA) if possible to encourage replies.

  • Try to tweet more on trending topics and keywords.

  • Threads get a lot more visibility than single-tweets.

  • Try to use more images or videos, but avoid tweets that ONLY has an image (i.e. add a caption).

  • Try not to post URLs, especially to non-news and media sites. On the contrary, including a news URL is beneficial.

  • Try not to overuse hashtags - Twitter recommends using a maximum of two. Spend some time on hashtag research.

  • Only follow relevant accounts that have a high likelihood of following you back and/or interacting with your Tweets. The number of people you follow should be less than the number of people following you - try to have a high follower to following ratio.

  • Avoid interacting with low quality accounts, such as those that have had reported tweets or experienced bans. Also avoid interacting with accounts that are highly unlikely to interact with your Tweets.

  • It takes >30 days before your tweets will be seen by others, so set up your Twitter account as early as possible. Your Twitter account also needs to be created for more than 30 days in order to sign up for Twitter Blue.

  • Try collaborating with other projects to boost visibility of your project's Twitter profile, e.g. joint-giveaways, host Twitter Spaces together, etc.

  • Only tweet in the language that your UI is set to.
